Goole is a town and inland port in East Riding of Yorkshire, about 22 miles from Hull. There are around 20,000 people in the town. Hull and Grimsby ports are nearby, making it an important transportation hub for goods coming from the River Ouse and the Aire and Calder Navigation.

Goole used to be known for coal mining, shipbuilding, and manufacturing. Today, the town’s economy relies mainly on logistics, with a number of large distribution warehouses.

Goole has a lot of attractions, including the Goole Museum, which shows the town’s history. West Park and Oakhill Nature Reserve are two parks in the town. Goole has a rich history and plenty of activities and amenities for its residents and visitors.
